ICOPAL has the best roofers in the world

The 22nd World Championship for Young Roofers took place on September 9-11 2009 in Lenexpo - the largest exhibition centre in St.-Petersburg, Russia. It is a first time for Icopal Russia to win Gold in such a prestigious championship. The Judges’ decision was absolutely unanimous - Icopal Russia won the 1st prize in the categories of both roof tiles and waterproofing membranes.
The contests included competition in three categories, tiled roof, PVC and bitumen membranes and iron roof. In the area of tiled roof, the task was to implement a part of a roof with complicated roofing elements in their natural size. Icopal Russia won this challenge! In the Waterproofing category (PVC and bitumen membranes) 6 teams took part in the competition representing respectively Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, France, Poland and our team from Russia. Again, Icopal Russia excelled and Russia won the 1st place in front of Poland and Germany.
