Icopal primarily uses natural raw materials like bitumen, sand, lime stone and slate in our production of bitumen membranes.
All Icopal production sites live up to high environmental standards. In general the ISO 14001 standard or similar standards for environmental management are adopted by Icopal companies. Recycling of production scrap is a key focus area in the production manangement as well as recycling used bitumen membranes.

 

Further to this large efforts are made to continously reduce energy consumption at all production sites.
