Special Roofing Solution: Sheet metalwork has been carried out on the dome. The inside have been replaced using stainless steel and the copper coating has been replaced. The dome has been gilded by hand. The copper exterior of the dome has been painted, and then adhesive was brushed on to the surface. Pieces of gold leaf, 8 cms square, were then attached.
